Case Study:NDS/Sky Digital Set-top Box.

NDS(Nasdaq:NNDS) is a middleware enabler for the broadcasting industry, with its largest shareholder being News International, also parent company of SKY digital.

NDS are not a set-top box manufacturer, but required a design to showcase their technology for various clients.

We examined the core age group for such technology and the type of press exposure they

were seeking and we provided a number of designs to select .

A design was chosen to proceed, and a rapid chain of events lead to a 3D engineering model with all components ready for insertion .

The final phase was to get the design into batch production with one of our Rapid Prototyping partners .

The final design was delived on budget and on time .
